We found out yesterday that a Mei Mei team member’s roommate tested positive for COVID. Members of their team and ours are arranging to get tested. Because of the long incubation period, Mei Mei is shutting down all onsite operations for the next week, including their farmers market and our pop-up.
This means we’re canceling both our pop-ups this weekend @meimeiboston and at the Popportunity Market in central square @centralsqbid
We are doing this out of extreme caution and to keep everyone safe. We are so grateful for everything we’ve been able to do so far and for all your support even before having a physical space. While we loved being out in the field and sharing some food with you, this is the reality we have to face not just in the restaurant industry but across multiple sectors.
