Celebrating our rich history of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, participating bars and restaurants are creating cocktails with Uncle Nearest Whiskey, one of the largest Black-owned spirits brands – and whiskey brands in general – in the world! For every cocktail sold, Uncle Nearest will donate $1 to fund and support HBCUs across the country.
At Comfort Kitchen, we are proud to honor Roxbury Community College, entering its fiftieth year educating predominantly Black and brown students in Boston from all over the world. Our beverage director Kyisha Davenport created The R.C.C. which features Uncle Nearest Rye Whiskey, Cardamaro, and Boschendal Cap Classique Brut, the first release from rising star vintner Andiswa Mapheleba under the historic South African wine label. As described by our Principal Bartender Danameche Terron, The R.C.C. is reminiscent of a Bee's Knees meets French 75 cocktail – bright, approachable, and food friendly.
Come in and try the R.C.C., and raise a glass to educational empowerment here in Boston and beyond! 🥂
We also have beautifully crafted non-alcoholic cocktails on our free-spirited beverage menu.
