Sept. 19-23: Negroni Week Specials at CK

Negroni Week is held from September 18-24 in an effort to raise funds for multiple charitable causes throughout the world. Over $4M combined has been donated to charity thanks to the relentless efforts of Imbibe, Campari, and Slow Food. In celebration of Negroni Week, our beverage team has put together a small menu featuring four variations of the original cocktail.

Legend has it that one day in Florence, Italy the cocktail was given life. It was the year 1919 when Count Camilo Negroni walked into Caffe Casoni requesting a spin on the classic cocktail the Americano. The original cocktail called for 1 part Campari, 1 part sweet vermouth and 1 part soda water with a lemon slice. Camilo made the *subtle* change from soda water to gin and the rest is history. The Negroni still stands as one of the more sought-after and popular drinks throughout the world.
