In 2020 when the pandemic hit, we understood that our opening date would have to be pushed. We thought it would be a few months, but here we are one year later. And what a year it has been!
The human loss and economic impact have been devastating. But we are hopeful for positive change to come, particularly in the food industry. Still, there is much more to be done.
We've also seen how our brand has continued to grow even before having a physical space to welcome you into. Our work continues and we still plan to open Comfort Kitchen's doors this year.
We're happy to share that our health permit was approved! This means we are officially one step closer to beginning our build-out.
In the meantime, we're grateful to have been connecting and sharing our food with you through our pop-ups. Thank you to our restaurant friends for hosting us!

And more good news! Until we open our brick-and-mortar in Dorchester's Uphams Corner, we're working on a long-term residency starting next month in another Boston neighborhood nearby.
